PRAYER

Lord, you who saw fit to inspire in Pious María Pilar Izquierdo, the redemptive value of suffering, and who filled her soul with the intense thirst of "suffering, souls and love." You who always listened to her prayer on behalf of the poor, of those who suffered and implored your mercy, make us also understand the mystery of the Cross and grant us the favour that we humbly request, of her intercession. Amen.
